The divorce drama was resurrected in 2019 during a short twitter feud involving Hamlin, Sheridan, and Hamlin's wife Lisa Rinna. Twice married and divorced, she also intermittently dated famous singer Michael Bolton - once suspiciously on the heels of her divorce from actor Harry Hamlin in 1992.

Her personal life seemed to mirror her professional one. The case spent five years in court, culminating in a hung jury in 2012 and a dismissal in 2017.
